Mustagh Ata or "Father of the ice mountains" lies in China in the Khunlun-Shan mountain range near the Pakistan border.
Muthagh Ata was my start into high altitude mountaineering. Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from getting any further from camp 3 at 6800m. We waited in our tent a couple of days and finally had to go back down. But we still had a great time and I cannot wait to get onto the next expedition.
