Read more Nanga Parbat (8125m) or "Naked Mountain" is the ninth highest mountain in the world and lies in the western Himalayan Mountains in Pakistan. Cho Oyu (8201m) 2007

pictures and report Cho Oyu (8201m/26,907ft) or "Turquois Godess" is the sixth highest mountain in the world and lies in the Himalayan Mountains only 30km west of Everest. The summit is at the borders of Nepal and Tibet (China). Mustagh Ata (7546m) 2004

pictures and report Mustagh Ata or "Father of the ice mountains" lies in China in the Khunlun-Shan mountain range near the Pakistan border. Muthagh Ata was my start into high altitude mountaineering. Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from getting any further from camp 3 at 6800m. We waited in our tent a couple of days and finally had to go back down.
