COIMBATORE

In Coimbatore I visited the family of Natasha who was my housemate in Exeter for two years. Natashas's family welcomed me very warmly in Coimbatore. (They just knew that my life is all about food!)

Natasha's dad Norman, her sister Ramona, and Prem's parents at Natasha's.

Ramona having a delicious traditional south Indian dish on a banana leaf.

Carrots on South India's highest mountain - 2600m.

A day trip to Ooty a hill station surrounded by tea plantations.

Ashwin, Natasha's brother, takes me to the bus station, by motor-cycle in the dark on India's roads without a helmet ...

These bottle brush trees in the hills were quite fascinating.

BANGALORE

Again, I am received with the warm and welcoming Indian hospitality in the India's IT city Bangalore. This time it is Natasha's cousin, Henry, and Prem's brother, Ravin, and their girlfriends. We eat loads and watch Kabul Express in the cinema.
